Bandai Entertainment Titles to Return to Best Buy?

By Ian Lueck

Millenium Media Services, a joint manufacturing/distribution venture between First Look Studios and Sony DADC, looks to help streamline DVD and Blu-ray products from various companies to Best Buy. In doing this, small companies can form a direct sales relationship with Best Buy that they couldn't do otherwise. It also reduces the amount of work on Best Buy's end, as they work with fewer vendors in the process.

Of interest to this forum, Bandai Entertainment, an anime label, has signed on as one of ten clients with MMS to bring their products back to Best Buy. Recently, it had been unable to release many of its recent titles to certain Best Buys, such as Code Geass Part 3 and Gurren Lagann Part 3.
